Songs of Love Foundation - create a song for your child - free

The Songs of Love Foundation is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to providing personalized uplifting songsfree of charge, for children and teens currently facing tough medical, physical or emotional challenges.  Through our service, Songs of Love improves the mental and emotional health of not only that child, but also his or her family.  Often, families report that they see their child responding, smiling and laughing for the first time in months.  More than 27,000 songs of love have been created for as many children world-wide since the organization's inception in 1996.  Every song is 100% original and tailor-made based on the child’s interests and favorite music.  Each song is professionally produced in approximately 4-6 weeks and recorded onto a CD with printed lyrics as a keepsake; mp3 files are available as well.

Songs of Love was founded in 1996 by singer-songwriter, John Beltzer, who while walking down the street one day was inspired to create Songs of Love after the suicide of his twin brother, Julio, who was battling schizophrenia.  Julio had written and recorded a composition entitled “Songs of Love” just two months before he died.  Coming from a singer/songwriter background, John Beltzer had no formal training in the ways of the non-profit world. He had to rely totally on his instincts and his passion for his work to raise the necessary funds and develop public and private awareness of Songs of Love, which serves children throughout the U.S. and internationally.

Songs of Love is the only organization of its kind in the world. Songs of Love has worked with over 350 professional singer/songwriter volunteers who bring “songs of love” – the “Medicine of Music™” – to seriously ill children nationwide and overseas. Its work has been featured on Hallmark Heroes with Regis Philbin, CBS 60 Minutes, CNN, ABC, NBC Dateline, the Today Show, NY1 and MSNBC, to name a few, and on radio, as well as in numerous print media including USA Today and The New York Times.
We are eager to write your child’s Song of Love!!
